Tote Bag

I recently made 3 tote bags like this. Two were passed along to the quilt guild, which is donating them to an area hospital for chemotherapy patients. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of those bags before they left my house. This one I am keeping for myself, it will serve nicely as a grocery bag, IF I can ever remember to actually bring it to the store.

This was a free pattern from Lazy Girl Designs.

I love the spring-like fabric. Our grocery store charges for each plastic bag and that is a real incentive to remember to bring cloth ones.

Happy Anniversary!

Thank you for the great idea on fabric grocery bags. It's a rainy day today and I think making bags would be a great way to spend my time.

Congrats again!!!

Lovely cheery bag. Looks like a very usable size too. Like you it's hard to remember all those great bags as you leave for the shop. I always remember as I'm standing in the queue to pay!!!
