Mark's Blog

Well today I am just flabbergasted. Check
this out. Censorship is alive and well here in the US, and it doesn't makes sense. Of course I still haven't seen this issue of the magazine, because somehow my subscription is screwed up and I have to call the customer service department and ask them to find my issue EVERY time.

I guess this is just yet another thing to add to me "Why I hate Joann Fabrics" List.

Hi, Tracey, You have been VERY busy getting some quilting done, I see. Good job. Linda

you might want to add that you need to go to Mark's blog to read what's upsetting you. the link takes you directly to the introduction of Mark's new line of fabric which isn't all that controversial. ;-) Quilter's Home is one I don't regularly get, but I think I'm going to have to buy this issue just to make a point.

Hey tracey! thanks for the birthday greeting! I love, love, love your tossed salad quilt and the others too. nice way to make a dent in the UFOs. i'm off to check out mark! my issue hasn't arrived yet either so I may need to make a call.

and i love your guild's idea for the holdiay party. the bookmarks are super cute. I'm going to "steal" your idea and suggest it to our program committee.

This is like "banned in Boston." Once that happens everyone in the city has to read it! I wonder if the folks at Jo-annes even read the article before banning it? Anyways, I really enjoy this magazine and will definitely pick up this issue. (Also, very excited to see his new fabrics...I collect Polish pottery as well!)
