Scrappy Bargello Progress

I've been stealing a few minutes here and there to sit at the sewing machine this morning. This is as far as I have gotten. I have 4 panels sewn into tubes, three of them waiting to be cut, one is cut and readyto be assembled.
I do think that I am going to add a bit to these panels to make them a bit longer. Right now, this is 58" long, and I think I'll make it 66". Then the quilt will be 48X66 before borders.

great range of lights and darks in that bargello! It's going to be stunning when finished :-)

Can't wait to see it done. I love bargellos! Glad you didn't decide to do a TATW.

The design wall is the best. I used to staple a sheet to my dining room wall and use that- when guests came over, I'd just yank the sheet down for a couple hours.

this is my first trip to your blog. I scrolled down to see all the scrappy strips. Boy, those are BEAUTIFUL. I'll have to check back to see the progress.

It looks like you decided against the many trips around the world version. I love the look of the fabrics. It sounds like the most difficult part is complete for you as you have all your tubes made.
